We went to our first NASCAR race in Daytona, Florida and it was absolutely amazing! We saw all kinds of crashes, including a huge 15 car pileup! The race was postponed due to heavy rain and reschedule to the next day when it was SWELTERING hot and humid, but we still got out on the actual race track and got to sign the finish line and meet lots of drivers. We also had the special honor of being announced at the drivers meeting with front row seats! We met a bunch of the drivers, including the new driver of car 24, William Byron, Kevin Harvick, Austin Dillon and more! It was fascinating to see the pit stops and hear the noise of the cars racing around the track. The kids even got to do a little shopping at the race. We hope you enjoy this awesome day we had.
