سلمى تأخذ جاد وبسمة ومعزوزة لزيارة صديقها مرزوق في المشتل. يقابلون النباتات والزهور المختلفة. يصادفون في طريقهم بنبتة صبار اسمها صبورة والتي تشعر بأنها مهملة. لاحظت بسمة أن صبورة لديها شعور كبير. تحاول بسمة مساعدتها من خلال اقتراح تزيين أشواكها لتشعر بالسعادة مرة أخرى. صبورة لا تشعر بتحسن وبدلا من ذلك تشعر بالاحباط أكثر. بسمة تشعر بالسوء و لا تعرف ماذا تفعل. عندها توضح سلمى لبسمة أن كل شخص فريد من نوعه ولديه قدراته الخاصة. تشيد بسمة بتميز صبورة، وتشجع صديقتها من خلال تذكيرها بمدى تميزها.

جاد متحمس لتعرفه على صديق جديد من مدينة سنجار، يقومون معا بلعب لعبة إيجاد الاشكال. سالار يحاول تعلم العزف على الة الساز الموسيقية والتي يفتخر بانها جزء من تراثه. أبو الفهم وهو يعزف لاصدقائه الطيور على الة العود وتعليمهم العزف على هذه الالة الموسيقية التي يفتخر بالعزف عليها كما تعلم هو في صغره من جده. وفقرة كلمة اليوم “”شجرة”” مع شخصيات الدبكة. بسمة وسلمى يقومان بعمل لعبة “دائرة مربع” من خلال فقرة اعملها بنفسك. ومع أبو الفهم وأصدقائه الطيور للتعرف على عدد اليوم وهو الرقم “٢”.
