Crazy Weather at Dollywood!

We visited Dollywood theme park and Splash Country (the Dollywood water park). We had such a fun time! The last time we went to Dollywood, I was pregnant with Owen and not feeling very well, plus I couldn’t ride any rides. So this time, I was excited to go on all the fun roller coasters they have there! This was our first visit to Splash Country. Splash Country is such a beautiful water park, set in the mountains. It’s really a beautiful place to spend time. It’s funny because we were starting to think we brought inclement weather with us since every water park we visited on this trip had to close down for one reason or another. Lucky for us, Splash Country did not close when it started pouring rain, but a lot of people left and we had lots of the rides all to ourselves! 80 FOOT BUNGEE JUMP DARE! Alyssa Vs. David

I consider myself a thrill seeker, but even I wasn’t brave enough to do the 80 foot free fall bungee jump with my kids. Zac and Chris did a 60 foot jump and Alyssa, David and Matt did an 80 foot jump–crazy, right?!! Aside from the massive free fall jump, the big kids and Matt did a super fun zip line while the little kids did a ropes course with some shorter zip lines. We also visited Noah’s Ark in Kentucky. This is a life size replica of Noah’s Ark from the Bible-it was fascinating! There were even some areas for kids inside. Finally, we got back to our hotel and Owen poured out an entire family size box of Cheerios that was brand new….just a day in the life of Family Fun pack.
