I have always kind of wondered when the “right time” is to let your little girl get her ears pierced. I decided I wanted her to be old enough to want to do it, rather than doing it as a baby. When she was little, I would say that I would wait for her to ask, then make her complete a bunch of hard songs on the piano….well, I didn’t realize when she was a baby that she was going to be so good at the piano at such a young age, so leveraging piano practice for ear piercing was out the door. In fact, I have been asking her for the past few years if she wanted to do it and she always said no! Again, I asked and thought it would be the perfect time to let her feel extra pretty and confident going into her first big performance. After she thought about it all day, she came and told me she had decided all by herself that she wanted to get her ears pierced. So, the day before her show, we got them done.
