Barbie Shrinky Dinks Bracelet Activity Charms Create Your Own Barbies Charm Bracelet. Shrinkydinks are a lot of fun and this Barbie set comes with 12 Charms, 2 Bracelets, 14 Charm Hooks and 5 colored pencils. You can Color Barbie with Pencils, Permanent Markers but not crayons or anything wax based because of the oven heat.
STEP 1 Position a Shrinky Dinks Picture on a flat surface with the rough side facing up. Using the colored pencils color on the rough side only.
STEP 2 Have an adult pre-heat a regular home or toaster oven to 325 Degrees F (Do not use microwave)
STEP 3 Before baking check all Barbie shrinkydink charms to make sure the holes have been punched out.
STEP 4 Cover a cookie sheet with non-stick aluminum foil and place your creations on the sheet with the rough side facing up.
STEP 5 Have an adult place the sheet with your creation in the oven and WATCH the baking process. It only takes 1-3 minutes.
STEP 6 Wait 5 mins for your shrinky dink to cool off.
STEP 7 Now it’s time to decorate the bracelets! Attach the hooks through the hole on each Shrinky Dink that is already baked and cooled. Then, attach the charm to the link bracelet by simply sliding the hook onto the link of the bracelet.
STEP 8 To create a closure for the bracelets, attach the hook to one of the bracelets and then attach it to the link on the other end.
