Disney Junior’s Doc McStuffins is one of the most popular cartoons for kids under 7. Doc McStuffins has followed the trend of creating dollhouses/playhouse toys for their characters. Including the Sofia the First Magical Talking Castle, and the Dora the Explored House. However, in our opinion the Doc McStuffins The Doc is in Clinic is probably the best of the bunch. There are a few flaws in its design, and it is a bit prices – but it is still fun…. and this is a dollhouse that even the boys will like (even the tough boys who claim not to like dollhouses).

Notes-

– Comes with Doc McStuffins, Hallie, and Lambie – Doc is a small doll, but Lambie ad Hallie are smaller plastic pieces which could get lost.

– Assembly is pretty easy – adding the stickers is the part that takes the longest. One piece of advice – make sure to install the elevator into place prior to connecting the house to the base.

– Comes with an examining table that plays sounds when Lambie or Hallie are placed in the right spots – this is the only battery operated part of the clinic.

– On the desk the phone rings when pressed.

– Very colorful – lots of bright colors to help catch your child’s eye

– The play area extends out – meaning that the *clinic* isn’t just inside the house but the bottom floor has an a much bigger area than what is just inside the house.

– Comes with a small yellow slide, and a small bedroom for Doc.

Final Verdict – The Doc is In Clinic is bright, colorful, and fun for children. It is a little heavy on plastic, but it seems to beholding up. It should be a big hit for any fan of Disney Junior’s Doc McStuffins

Disney Junior’s Jake and the Never Land Pirates is one of the most popular shows for both boys and girls under the age of 7. Jake and his pirate crew perform good deeds while often foiling the plans of the verbally challenged Captain Hook. As parents we appreciate that the show never has a cringe worthy moment (no inappropriate words for preschoolers) and that it promotes friendship and teamwork.

The Jake and the Never Land Pirates Skull Island Play Set if a scary looking hideout for Jake, his crew, and Peter Pan. The set isn’t perfect – it would be nice if it was a little bigger and could hold more characters.

Notes-

– Peter Pan is included

– A water cannon is included with three shots

– The opening of the island has a gate that opens and closes – and it looks like teeth

– The door of the island rotates and becomes a secret entrance

– The back of the play set features stairs and both an upstairs and down stairs for the characters

– The patch on the skull opens up to reveal a secret window

– Does not require batteries

Final Verdict – The Skull Island play set is a fun way to include Peter Pan into your child’s Jake and the Never Land Pirates sets – it seems like they could have incorporated more features, but it is a fun set especially if your child like Peter Pan

I don’t think I have ever met a kid that didn’t like Play Doh. The Play Doh Sweets Cafe allows your child to make lollipops and popsicles. While this play set looks fancier than reality it still will keep your kids entertained for at least 15 to 30 minutes. That may not sound like much, but in the world of toys…. that is nearly an eternity.

– Six sticks for making popsicles and lollipops are included

– The Perfect Pop Maker Press works well for pressing together both lollipops and popsicles.

– You likely will mix your Play Doh colors – which is probably the biggest disadvantage to the set, since you may go through Play Doh a little quicker than normal.

Final Verdict – While there Play Doh Sweet Shoppe Play Sets that can make more elaborate treats – the Perfect Pop Maker is a fun way to make popsicles and lollipops.

Play-Doh Beach Creations How to Demonstration

Everyone enjoys a day at the beach, and with the Play Doh Beach Creations Bucket you can imitate beach time fun regardless of the temperature or the time of year. The Beach Creations Bucket is a pretty basic set – but the good news is that most of the shapes are easy enough for young kids – but the imitation Play Doh sand is cool enough for younger and older kids.

– Comes with molds to make a lobster and starfish – and has the head and tail of fish

– Also includes a shovel (which can also be used to make footprints) and a but with four different tops.

– Clean up is pretty easy – although the Play Doh beach sand is a bit watery

– When you are finished everything fits back into the bucket for storage.

Final Verdict – The Play Doh Beach Creations is an unique Play Doh play set – While there are limited number of “Creations” that can be made. The Beach Sand Play Doh has the feel and consistency of real sand, which makes especially fun on a cold winter’s day!

Doc McStuffins Talk and Trace Clipboard Review

Doc McStuffins is one of the most popular shows on Disney Junior. Doc appeals to both young boys and girls as she mends her toy friends and dispenses helpful advice.

The Doc McStuffins Talk and Trace Clipboard is allows your child to interact with Doc while drawing shapes, letters, and numbers. There are several modes to help encourage different drawing activities on the clipboard.

Notes

– It is a bit easy to miss but the clipboard does talk – there are several modes that feature Doc, Lambie, and Stuffy

– Three templates are included for tracing numbers and letters –

– The clipboard uses iron based sand and a magnetic pen to create the drawings. While this works it doesn’t allow your child to draw crisp lines or shapes.

– The lever on the side erases and wipes the clipboard clean.

– One negative is that I wish the cord on the pen was bout 2 inches longer – it is difficult to draw at the bottom of the clipboard.

– Batteries are included

Final Verdict – A fun Doc McStuffins sketch pad for any Doc fan – it might have been better served if it didn’t actually “talk” but it is still a nice way for you child to draw and trace numbers and letters.
