Swimming, swimming in the swimming pool
When days are hot, when days are cool in the swimming pool
Breast stroke, side stroke, fancy diving, too
Oh don’t you wish you never had anything else to do but
Swimming, swimming in the swimming pool
When days are hot, when days are cool in the swimming pool
Breast stroke, side stroke, fancy diving, too
Oh don’t you wish you never had anything else to do
Oh floating on the blue with no school work to do
I’ll do a lazy crawl, or a splashy cannonball
Loudspeaker: “Adult swim”
Oh, swimming, swimming in the swimming pool
When days are hot, when days are cool in the swimming pool
Breast stroke, side stroke, fancy diving, too
Oh don’t you wish you never had anything else to do but
Swimming, swimming in the swimming pool
When days are hot, when days are cool in the swimming pool
Breast stroke, side stroke, fancy diving, too
Oh don’t you wish you never had anything else to do
but swim.

The PlaySkool Poppin Park line of toys has continued to grow over the last few years. In the video portion of this review I compare the Learn N Pop LIon Toy to the Eelefun Busy Ball Popper and the Explore N Grow Ball Popper. Each of these toys brings its own level of fun…although some may bring bigger smiles than the others.
Explore N Grow Busy Ball Popper – The loudest and fastest of the three toys. I can honestly say that every toddler who I have seen play with had fun. I can also say that every adult has thought it was too loud (no volume adjustment). The toy requires hand dexterity and quick reflexes, but it offers very little in the way of educational opportunities. In terms of ages…this toy is appropriate for ages 1-5.
Eelefun Busy Ball Popper – Not quite as loud as the Explore N Grow, but it doesn’t bring quite the same number of smiles. It is the *cutest* of the three toys, and it still offers plenty of fun.
The Learn N Pop Lion Toy – This may not be the most exciting toy, but does offer parents a unique way of teaching your child to count in different languages. I especially like the fact that it counts in four separate languages (English, French, Spanish, and Mandarin). It is also the one that can be enjoyed by infants – I would say any child over 9 months would be able to handle this toy.

Notes-
– No volume settings – although it really is not too loud, especially when compared to the other Busy Ball Poppers
– Requires 2AA batteries – demo batteries are included, but don’t expect them to last years
– Counts in four (4) languages – English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin
– Comes with three (3) balls which *pop* whenever the tail is pushed down
– The toy is pretty basic and can be enjoyed by any child older than 9 months. In my opinion, this toy can be enjoyed by children 9Months to about 3 years old.
Final Verdict – Our daughter is a few months short of three years old and she has enjoyed playing with the Learn N Pop Lion Toy. She enjoys counting with *her* lion, although she has not taken to trying to count in the different languages.

Note- I received this toy for reviewing purposes

It would be hard to imagine a ride-on car that a little boy would like better than the Power Wheels Arctic Cat Rideo-on. I will warn you that it is exclusive to one particular store brand, so make sure you do your research.
The Car/Ride-on is plenty of fun… for boys and girls (My 2 year old daughter loved riding around on it too!). It offers enough power to drive through grass, but not so fast that it causes danger on paved surfaces. Honestly, I don’t think the kids would like it any better if it did go faster…. it would just cause a few more safety issues.
Notes
Safety – To me, this is the most important factor. The Power Wheels Arctic Cat has velcro seat belts, which don’t offer much protection, but they do help keep the little bodies IN the car. The car/ride-on is not top heavy so there is no danger of flipping. The only thing it is missing is doors (just like a real arctic cat). The reason I like doors is that they help keep feet an legs in the car. When a passenger is riding they often want to get out while the driver is still driving right along.
Features- The clip on shovel is a feature that is well liked – not necessarily something that is used a lot, but it is fun for play. The tailgate drops and allows for a fun storage area behind the seats. As you can see in the video there is lots of room for storage behind the seats. A few features are missing – there is no horn, radio, headlights, or turn signals – none of which are necessary but you do find them on some of the other Power Wheels.
Battery – Standard 12 volt- the nice thing about this battery is that they are readily available and back-ups can be bought for a very reasonable price.
Final Verdict – The Power Wheels Arctic Cat Ride-on is a toy that is both rugged and fun. While it is missing a couple features it still will offer many hours of SAFE drive time fun!
