I discovered the Disney Animators’ Collection at a Disney Store. With a collection featuring all 10 princesses‒Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana and Rapunzel. I know what is going on her Christmas list for this year. Involving the Disney Animators in the creation and design of these toddler princesses may have helped to bring out more of the true spirit of the princess, since Glen Keane and Mark Henn were the ones that originated six of the Disney Princess and perhaps knew their characters the best. Already a hit with young girls, older girls and doll collectors, the Disney Animators’ Collection dolls have been flying off the shelves since they became available in October 2011.
