Bearing #24 Jeff Gorvette is one of the greatest American racecars alive today. He appears in all 3 races including the one in Radiator Springs. He never got hit by the lemons camera in any of the races. Jeff Gorvette is based on the real NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon. His name is a combination of “Jeff Gordon” and “Corvette”.

Cars 2 is a animated film produced by Pixar Animation Studios released by Walt Disney Pictures. Racer Lightning McQueen and tow truck Mater head to Japan and Europe to compete in the World Grand Prix. The film is directed by John Lasseter.

Francesco Bernoulli grew up in Porto Corsa Italy. As the most famous open-wheels Formula 1 race car in Europe, racer Francesco is a favorite to win the World Grand Prix, which also makes him Lightning McQueen’s chief rival. His mom is Mama Bernoulli. His pit crew chief is Giuseppe Motorosi. His tires are “Rotelli Tires Pasta Potenza”.

The Jelly Belly Electric Shaver by Back to Basics is loud and seems to be rather flimsy. So why am I rating it 4 1/2 stars? Well it makes snow cones in less than one minute! Are they great Sno Cones… no, but they are better than expected. How long will it last – well if I get a full summer out of it I will be more than happy.

How does it work? Take a look at the video, but the top part of the unit grips the ice and turns it over a sharp edge (Not quite as sharp a razor) which shaves the ice. The shaved ice then drops down into the cone or bowl. Don’t expect precision… the shaved ice basically just drops down.

Notes

– It is loud – basically the same volume as a blender. Not that big of a deal if you are making Sno Cones outside, but if you are doing them indoors I hope no one is trying to sleep!

– Build Quality – This is not a commercial quality ice shaver, but that does not mean that it junk. At this price point I only expect to get about one summer and one birthday party out of it.

– Sno Cone Quality – Better than expected – none of the kids that a Sno Cone complained!

– Sno Cone flavoring is not included

Final Verdict – This is a great little ice shaver for making Sno Cones on a hot summer day. The build quality is good enough for a birthday party or two, but it likely will not hold up for any type of commercial use (i.e. you decide to sell Sno Cones for a church charity event). At this price point the only real negative is that it is kind of loud, but other than that it really is not a bad option.
