So we were filming today’s video and of all the kids, I knew there was only one I could ask about baby names without having the gender given away. But little Michael surprised me and blurted out the gender of our baby! I was so shocked that my natural reaction was QUICK TURN OFF THE CAMERA! Michael JUST grew tall enough to go on some of the big kid rides that he has never been on before! For his first big boy ride, we took him on Radiator Springs Racers. Since the park had really low attendance, we spent the whole afternoon and evening together and had a really fun time. I’m still pregnant and trying to get some exercise, so we have been taking walks and going on hikes. Today, we go on a family hike and bring Heather’s dog, Meg. Hana and Kona loved it! My little rock collector, Michael, found some special rocks during this trip. He has brought all his rocks home and has named them after family members. They have a special place in the garden. He calls them his “magical rocks”. Alyssa cooks a huge homemade meal with her grandma, and Papa uses a light saber to practice the piano with the boys. Thanks for watching! Zac & Chris chose to have a pizza party for their family birthday party. We went to John’s Incredible Pizza and ate pizza, rode all the rides and played some games. Michael’s current favorite Disney character is Princess Elena of Avalor (Sorry Sofia the First!) We took Michael and the kids to Elena’s grand welcoming ceremony at Disneyland. He was thrilled to go, super excited all day……then he saw her…..it was so cute because my spunky little boy became completely speechless! If you know Michael, though, you’ll see that behind that wide-eyed stare was complete and utter excitement of meeting his favorite princess in person. She was so sweet to him, too, and he hasn’t stopped talking about meeting Elena! We also did all the Elena crafts and project that were sitting out, which the kids loved!
