Auntie Heather got these two playsets for Alyssa to play with. She got them for free from a product testing website group she belongs to. Alyssa loves Littlest Pet Shop. This is a cute new twist on the classic toy with elements of the old time as well as fun new ways to take more of a part in her Littlest Pet Shop playtime.

Many years ago, my parents bought a Flowbee at the LA County Fair. They have been using it to cut hair ever since and they swear by it. It attaches to the vacuum and it sucks the hair into the vacuum after it is cut so there’s no mess on the floor. Here’s a video of my mom giving our 5 year old a trim.

Here is Alyssa singing one of her solos from her vocal showcase. It’s hard to see, but Alyssa is wearing glass Cinderella slippers to go with her costume :) She is 7 in this performance.
She and her duet partner, Cami, were so cute together–Cami is just a sweetheart to Alyssa. Alyssa came home one day from rehearsal asking me if she could invite someone from voice lessons to her birthday party. I asked who and she said Cami, I thought it was so cute that she wanted to invite Cami, even though Cami is in high school :)

Alyssa (7 years old) sang in a few numbers during her vocal showcase, but this was one of my favorite songs because of how cute her tiny voice fit the part of the baby troll from Frozen. Unfortunately, my camera memory card filled up during the song, but I did get both of Alyssa’s solos before the camera cut me off. Also, I have to give a huge shout-out to Alyssa’s teacher who is just fabulous! I have never seen any vocal teacher put on a show like this one in my life!!
