Twins Fight and Bite at 14 Months

This is the babies at fourteen months. They had climbed on the table and were being so cute, then when I started videoing them, one decided to start hitting the other. Finally the one being hit decided to get revenge by biting. unfortunately, this stage is not a fun one and it is one that pretty much all twin parents can identify with, as none of my “single” children have ever acted like this towards each other. the good news is that this stage didn’t last long for us!

Twins Popcorn Disaster

while i was showering the other day, my twins dumped out over 10 pounds of popcorn on the kitchen floor. They climbed over the baby gate and up 4 shelves in the pantry in order to get it down. My oldest (5 yrs old) got the popcorn popper down and the kids started popping popcorn. Once i turned off the camera and started cleaning, the kids were grabbing handfuls of kernels and throwing them around the house as fast as they could…..let’s just say they had a blast, but it’s been over a month and I am still finding popcorn in my carpet.

Alyssa Plays the Piano & Sings at 5 Years Old

Alyssa just turned 5. Here she is playing a song on the piano and singing for part of it. I started teaching her piano when she was 2. I couldn’t be more proud of her music reading ability. The song she is playing is “Ding Dong Merrily on High”, a popular Christmas song. Thanks for watching and please give her a THUMBS UP!

Twins Putting Themselves to Bed

one day i told the twins to go to bed and they did it! i was shocked, and now they do it on a regular basis. I find it so cute, so I took a video of them doing it to show our family that lives far away. They are 1.5 yrs in this video. the crib tents are to keep the babies safe if they wake up while we are sleeping, and to keep bugs out of the cribs. They are also fire retardant, just in case anyone was worried :). and yes…we brush their teeth after they fall asleep–a fabulous recommendation by our dentist! thanks for looking!
