Том очень добрый, очень дружелюбный и очень весёлый кот. Любит работать и сочинять интересные идеи. Том очень романтичный, ревнивый и верный. Всегда готов помочь своим друзьям. Он всегда бывает ответственным, но не усидчивым, в отличии от своего усидчивого друга Бена. Поэтому большую часть работы выполняет пёс Бен.
Том — остряк и иногда любит подшутить над своим другом Беном. Последний чаще всего игнорирует шутки Тома, отделавшись ворчанием, но иногда может и подраться с ним. Том влюблён в свою подругу — кошку Анджелу. Анджела редко отвечает ему взаимностью, а во втором случае даже обращается с Томом как со слугой, что очень не нравится последнему и иногда вызывает в нём «дух соперничества» — они выясняют отношения друг с другом как «кто главнее?». В третьем случае — тоже неловкая ситуация для Тома: он ищет подходящий случай, чтобы признаться Анджеле в любви, однако сама кошка не придаёт этому особого значения.
