The Peek-A-Boo song is a cute song for children, toddlers, and babies where kids can have fun playing and putting the “boo” in peek-a-boo along with Katie.

The Play Doh Cake Makin’ Station lets kids make and decorate their own cakes. Older children will really enjoy using the molds and the cake makin’ station – but younger kids will struggle to do anything other than use the side press for cupcake and the molds for decorations.

Notes

– Comes with 4 cans of Play Doh – White, Blue, Brown and Pink

– The side of the station features a cupcake press (which works very well)

– A small extruder is included for making real looking frosting.

– Comes with multiple press tops and cake molds – again they are fun but younger kids will have a hard time mastering the cake makin station.

– A plate, spoon, knife and fork are included – a real looking candle can be made from the handle of the knife

– Clean up is not too difficult

Final Verdict – There are definitely better Play Doh Sweet Shoppe play sets out there for younger children, but older kids may like all of the options and the very real looking cakes that can be made

Play Doh is always a fun option for a rainy old cold afternoon. The Play Doh Mega Fun Factory is (in some ways) the very best of the Play Doh toys (and I have reviewed nearly 30 of them!). The Mega Fun factory helps to introduce your child to the concept of an assembly line.

– The conveyor belt does move slowly, but that is ok because there is a lot going on. Your child will need to press the wheel into the Play Doh (which does stop the conveyor)

– Comes with two wheels that feature molds with a large variety of shapes. Pulling out on the side wheels will unlock it and allow it to be swapped.

Final Verdict – While your child may lose interest after extended play – the Play Doh Mega Fun Factory is visually impressive and helps to teach children some of the basics of mechanics. As a side note… this is one Play Doh toys that dads will be very eager to help with!

Our daughter is a big fan of the Fisher-Price Little People Disney Princess Songs Palace. While she doesn’t play with it every day (anymore) it has kept her attention for nearly 1 year. Now that the Little People Ariel’s Castle has come out we thought that it would make a nice addition to the Song Palace… and out daughter really does like it.

Notes

– Comes with both Ariel and Flounder – the Ariel figure works with Fisher-Price Little People Disney Princess Songs Palace

– When the treasure chest in the castle is opened it plays music – the playset does require 2 AAA batteries which are not included

– Comes with a chariot that will hold two Little People figures

– The Set folds up, but does not snap shut… it looks like it should snap shut, but we can’t figure it out!

– Other features…. a slide for Ariel and flounder, a vanity with a mirror that flips into a picture. and a two person chair.

– Minor assembly require – it should take less than 5 minutes, but does require a philips head screw driver.

Final verdict – The Fisher Price Little People Ariel’s Castle is a fun toy for any fan of Ariel or the Little Mermaid. While the Fisher-Price Little People Disney Princess Songs Palace is bigger and offers more options for the princesses – but Ariel’s Castle is smaller and may be a better choice for fans of the Little Mermaid
