Sofia the First has quickly become one of my daughter’s favorite shows on Disney Junior..

– Sofia requires a small fixture ( which is included) in order to stand.

– Minimus’ wings go up and down when he is raised and lowered – easily the best feature of the toy.

– It is kind of difficult to get Sofia locked into place on Minimus – often times the first time Minimus flutters his wings she will get knocked off.

Final Verdict – While I am still disappointed with a couple of the design features it still brings a smile to my daughter.

A Disney Toy Review on The_Engineering_Family. Our 3 year old daughter is a big fan of Disney Jr’s Minnie Mouse Bowtique. While she like several different cartoons Minnie’s Bowtique is one of the few that makes her laugh. What my wife and I like about the Minnie Bowtique toys is that they are well designed. They are well built, they work on carpet, and everything fits in the playset for storage (reducing the chance that pieces will get lost).

Notes-

– Assembly takes less than 2 minutes – the most time consuming aspect is putting the polka dot stickers on the yacht.

– Minnie Mouse easily snaps onto the surfboard and other accessories.

– Even though it is a boat this yacht is not designed for the bath tub.

– Three wheels on the bottom of the yacht means that it rolls easily across carpet.

– When your child is finished all of the accessories (the surfboard, lounge chair, table, and round life preserver) all fit inside the yacht.

– The side elevator works well – but the slide leave a little to be desired. It is a little difficult to get Minnie to slide all the way down the slide without falling off.

Final Verdict – The Minnie Mouse Polka Dot Yacht is a fun toy for any fan of Minnie Mouse Bowtique. if you are simply looking for a toy boat for your child there are probably better ones out there, but for fans of Minnie this one is a likely winner.
