What do you get when you combine Tonka Trucks with Play Doh? You get the Play Doh Diggin Rigs Tonka Chuck and Friends Playsets. That is more than a mouthful, but it does describe this combination of the construction feel of Tonka Trucks with imaginative play of Play Doh.

Chomper the Excavator is a nice addition to the Diggin Rigs family although it lacks enough tools to be a headlining act. At best you can make three things from Play Doh – and one, the bricks is pretty difficult to remove from the mold. The best feature of Chomper the Excavator is the spring loaded claw. The claw works surprisingly well and can easily grab a variety of Play Doh parts.

Final Verdict – Chomper the Excavator makes a nice addition to a Play Doh Diggin Rigs family. You may not want to start your Diggin Rigs set with Chomper, but it certainly is a fun addition for anyone who may already own Buster the Power Crane or the Brick Mill Playset.
