Everybody has a dream…In David’s case, it is to grow up and be a pirate. I think his Kindergarten teacher had other ideas for his career path though. and, just In case some of the video is hard to understand, here’s how the clip starts: David came home from Kindergarten the other day, telling me how they were picking careers for when they grow up. David wrote on his paper that he was going to be a pirate when he grew up, and his teacher came by and told him he had to erase it and pick something else. At the end when he says he could get all the tattoos if he were a Dentist, he is referring to the temporary rub-on type. Our dentist has a huge bowl of them and the kids love picking tattoos whenever they visit the dentist. After we stopped recording, we asked him what nurses do to see if he even knew what a nurse was (since it was hilarious to him that someone would want to be a nurse). Turns out, he told us that nurses “nurse people, even adults like Kona nurses her puppies and mommies nurse their babies”.
