SOFIA THE FIRST Royal Purse and Gloves Unboxing and Review

The Disney Junior Disney Princess Sofia the First Royal Purse and Gloves dress up set.

Notes-

– The gloves are a bit ill fitting and we had difficulty getting our 3 year old’s hand into them. Once they were in they looked a bit awkward since the fingers seemed way too long for the width.

– The purse uses velcro for a clasp – not a problem since it seems to work pretty well.

– The material for both the purse and the gloves feel as bit cheap – it is feels thin, cheap, but rigid.

– The ring that is included is a simple plastic purple ring which is sewn into the glove (but it can be removed)

– The purse is a bit on the smallish size – even on our three year old it clearly looks like a toy.

– Does include a card that can be used for Sofia’s Talking Amulet – without the Amulet the card is just a bit of a novelty. I would recommend buying the Sofia the First Talking Amulet in addition (or in the place of) this set – it is one of our daughter’s favorite pieces of jewelry.

Final Verdict – Not a bad playset if your child already has a Sofia dress, but as a stand alone it does leave a bit desired. Our biggest disappointment was that the material for both the purse and gloves feels rather cheap… but at this price point I guess we should not have expected too much.
