Our 3 year old daughter enjoys watching the Minnie Mouse Bow-Tiques minuets. While she likes many of the shows on Disney Jr few (if any) causes her to have as many laughs as the Minnie Mouse Bow-Tique shorts. The Minnie Mouse Bow-Tique Flower Shop is a nice simple toy that provides fun without lots of lights and sounds.
Notes-
– Comes with a Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck figurines
– The playset folds up nicely and holds all of the accessories and more. You have gotta love self-contained toys that make clean up easy.
– The front door of the flower shop opens and closes.
– The Bow-Tique doesn’t have small accessories so it safe for children two and up.
– Easy to open packaging – scissors or other sharp objects were not required.
– Combines nicely with other Minnie Mouse Bow-Tique toys.
Final Verdict – The Minnie Mouse Bow-Tique Flower Shop Playset is a simple but fun toy. I am not sure if our daughter will still be playing with it 6 months, but for now she enjoys it.

Sofia the First is newest in a long line of Disney Jr popular cartoons. It seems like that Disney is able to (annually) roll out new cartoons – Jake and the Neverland Pirates (2011), Doc McStuffins (2012), and Sofia the First in 2013. I am not sure if Sofia will have the broad appeal of both Jake and Doc McStuffins (which both boys and girls seem to love), but Sofia is definitely a hit with my 3 year old daughter.
The Sofia the First Royal Coach was a toy that our 3 year old daughter was excited to play with since it combines three of her favorite things – Sofia, Princesses, and Horses.
Notes-
– Assembly – Not to bad, the only real assembly is placing the harness of the flying horse. It is not too difficult but the directions definitely help.
– Carriage – Rolls easily and there is no problem connecting it to the flying horse. Our biggest complaint is that the seat belts are a bit cumbersome to use – little hand may have difficult putting the figures in the carriage and strapping them in.
– Batteries – uses three pen/hearing aid style batteries (which are included)
Final Verdict – The Sofia the First Royal Coach is toy that my daughter enjoys I ultimately worry about its staying power.

One thing you can say about Disney is that they never back down from a marketing opportunity, now that Sofia the First has become popular Disney has rolled a large variety of toys. The Sofia the First Royal Bed Playset is a copy of Sofia’s canopy bed, her pet bird, Clover, and even her teddy bear!
Notes-
– Sofia fits snuggly under the covers of the Canopy bed – in some ways a little too snuggly because if her arms are not positioned correctly she will not fit.
– Sofia can be coupled with the Sofia the First Magical Talking Castle where this Sofia figure adds a few additional phrases to the castle.
– One thing that is odd, the Royal Bed doesn’t quite fit in the Sofia the First Magical Talking Castle – it is a bit too large.
Final Verdict – My daughter liked the Sofia Royal Bed Playset, but it doesn’t really compliment the Magical talking castle.
