The Castle looks like a miniature version of Sofia’s castle all the way down to the stained glass that Philip broke in one of the earlier episodes. Sofia’s room has a replica window sill for her and Clover (and Clover can snap into the daybed and rotated for a little hide-and-go-seek. Each of the characters sit on the platform and play a variety of phrases.
Notes
– Assembly is not to difficult but does take about 30 minutes
– Comes with a Sofia and Clover (the bunny) figures. Sofia is completely moveable (to the point that she bows).
– When the figures are tapped on the platform they will speak a variety of phrases. This is cool and fun, but it does have a couple of flaws.
– Lots of fun accessories that are included, although a few of them are pretty small (definitely not for children under 3). Included is a daybed, real bed, toy castle, a cake plater, a picnic lunch, glasses, plates, and a table.
Final Verdict – The Sofia the First Magical Talking Castle is a fun playset, but a little extra time and quality control would have made it a slam dunk five star product.

My daughter is a fan of Play Doh toys, but she never spent more than 15 minutes playing with a playset at one sitting. That all changed with the Play Doh Doctor Drill and Fill Playset when she sat down and played for one straight hour (which is unheard of my little 3 year old). She loved all of the aspects of Doctor Drill N Fill – the making of the teeth, the drilling of cavities, brushing teeth, and even imagining that she was spraying water into the mouth.
Why my daughter liked playing with the Doctor Drill N Fill set my wife and I loved the fact that she was learning about teeth, dentistry, and oral hygiene. Think about it… how many times do you have your childs interest when you explain cavities and why proper brushing techniques are important?
– Lots of fun for a Play Doh Playset – allows you to make teeth, braces, brush teeth, and drill cavities
– Perfect for a 3 year old – I am not sure what ages would enjoy it, but I can for certain that my three year old loves it!
