Here’s the latest 2013 case G from Mattel toys with 24 die-cast cars from Disney Pixar cars 2 including Miles Axlerod with open hood from palace chaos, Darrell Cartrip with headset and cactus McQueen. The Disney Junior Disney Princess Sofia the First Royal Purse and Gloves dress up set.
Notes-
– The gloves are a bit ill fitting and we had difficulty getting our 3 year old’s hand into them. Once they were in they looked a bit awkward since the fingers seemed way too long for the width.
– The purse uses velcro for a clasp – not a problem since it seems to work pretty well.
– The material for both the purse and the gloves feel as bit cheap – it is feels thin, cheap, but rigid.
– The ring that is included is a simple plastic purple ring which is sewn into the glove (but it can be removed)
– The purse is a bit on the smallish size – even on our three year old it clearly looks like a toy.
– Does include a card that can be used for Sofia’s Talking Amulet – without the Amulet the card is just a bit of a novelty. I would recommend buying the Sofia the First Talking Amulet in addition (or in the place of) this set – it is one of our daughter’s favorite pieces of jewelry.
Final Verdict – Not a bad playset if your child already has a Sofia dress, but as a stand alone it does leave a bit desired. Our biggest disappointment was that the material for both the purse and gloves feels rather cheap… but at this price point I guess we should not have expected too much.

Our daughter is 3 years old and really enjoys Sofia the First on Disney JR. Disney has always been able to capitalize on a marketing idea and has teamed up with Mattel to create a line of Sofia toys. Unfortunately, a few of the toys have fallen short – when combined with the Sofia Magical Castle many of the characters use the wrong voice.
Notes
– Please note that this playset does NOT come with a Sofia or any of the dolls.
– Comes with one teaching fairy
– Includes a Sofia backpack, ink canister and quill, and books. Please note that some of these accessories are pretty small so you may want to keep it away from children.
– The desk does open up – which is nice because you can store all of Sofia’s school supplies in the desk.
– Sofia can’t really sit in her desk – my daughter typically has her stand in her chair.
Final Verdict – While the Sofia the First Royal Classroom does not come with a Sofia doll, it is a fun accessory for any Sofia fan who happens to have a playset that does have a playset. I will say that if you are looking to buy either the Royal Art Set *or* the Royal Classroom I would recommend the Sofia the First Royal Classroom Playset.

My daughter really enjoys Sofia the First on Disney JR. Disney has always been able to capitalize on a marketing idea and has teamed up with Mattel to create a line of Sofia toys. Unfortunately, a few of the toys have fallen short – when combined with the Sofia Magical Castle many of the characters use the wrong voice.
Notes-
– One thing to remember this playset does not come with Sofia or any character
– Comes with an easel and 6 pieces of Sofia *art* – it is a bit disappointing that the *art* is made of flimsy cardboard (which were slightly damaged when we took them out of the box).
– Comes with a paint stand and paint brushes – the brushes are very small and are not recommended for children under the age of three
– Does come with one of the fairies
– Despite not including a Sofia the First it does include an apron/smock for Sofia
Final Verdict – The Sofia the First Royal Art Set is an ok accessory for a Sofia fan that has other Sofia toys (and has a small Sofia doll). Our recommendation (from me and my 3 year old daughter) would be to buy the Sofia the First Royal Classroom.
