My daughter really enjoys Sofia the First on Disney JR. Disney has always been able to capitalize on a marketing idea and has teamed up with Mattel to create a line of Sofia toys. Unfortunately, a few of the toys have fallen short – when combined with the Sofia Magical Castle many of the characters use the wrong voice.
Notes-
– One thing to remember this playset does not come with Sofia or any character
– Comes with an easel and 6 pieces of Sofia *art* – it is a bit disappointing that the *art* is made of flimsy cardboard (which were slightly damaged when we took them out of the box).
– Comes with a paint stand and paint brushes – the brushes are very small and are not recommended for children under the age of three
– Does come with one of the fairies
– Despite not including a Sofia the First it does include an apron/smock for Sofia
Final Verdict – The Sofia the First Royal Art Set is an ok accessory for a Sofia fan that has other Sofia toys (and has a small Sofia doll). Our recommendation (from me and my 3 year old daughter) would be to buy the Sofia the First Royal Classroom.
