Ryan’s twin babies newborn baby sisters Emma and Kate first shots at the doctor for their two months checkup! Ryan was at daycare when the twin babies received their first vaccine shots but we went grocery shopping later to buy them Tylenol for their fever and Ryan, being a 4 year old boy, got distracted by Hot Wheels toy car! Emma and Kate also get weight! At birth Emma was 4lb 12oz, at two months she weighs 9lb 6oz. Kate at birth weight 5lb 2oz, at two months check up she weighs 9lb! The twin girls had a hard time sleeping for the next couple of days after their shot but they are okay now! Kids, sometimes you make friends in the most unexpected places. Sometimes, you toddlers become best friends with other children that you didn’t like once upon a time. Sometimes, you make animal and insect friends instead of human friends! This children poem ‘The Spider in My Shoe’ is a perfect example of all three. Here, we have a little boy who hates a spider that is stuck in his shoe, but soon it becomes his best friend that proudly sits on his shoulder wherever he goes. This spider rhyme may not be as popular as the Incy Wincy nursery rhyme, but it helps babies learn how to not fear insects, to not be violent and harm them, but to just let them be. However if your parents get scared seeing a spider on your shoulder next time, tell them this kids song is to blame!
