Barney introduces his friends to Gal, a new boy who just moved into town. Throughout the day, the gang sing songs and do activities all about friendship. Meanwhile, Mickey and Amir have to learn the true meaning of friendship when they can’t decide who gets to keep a picture they worked on.

The kids are frightened after a thunderstorm sends them inside. Barney comes to life and helps the kids and Baby Bop turn their fears into positive thoughts. From making their own storm to making silly monster masks, the gang discovers that scary things can be turned into something fun. Barney even helps Tal overcome his fear of dogs when he meets Yana’s puppy.

Noa introduces her blind friend Ifat to Barney and the gang. She comments that one can experience a beautiful day even without sight. This leads Barney and the kids to explore the five senses through songs and games. In addition, Ifat shows the gang that blind children are capable of doing things for themselves and can play along with others.
