We went to the absolute coolest Nerf war arena ever!! They had ever Nerf blaster you could ever imagine, and the best playing area inside. There were bunkers to hide in, barricades to ambush, trenches to plow under and secret hideaways to plot an attack. We played yellow vs orange, then we played orange vs black, then we played parents vs kids, but that ended up as everybody against Uncle Steven! We also had a lot of fun with hide and seek. We had so much fun taking the kids to Salt Lake City where we attended CVX Live. We ate yummy food (like Dough Co the edible raw cookie dough place), we played games (like giant jenga), we saw amazing reptiles and animals (like the dog that starred in The Stray), we saw a magic card trick, we did some cool science stuff (like the anti-helium that makes your voice deep instead of high), we hung out on a giant pirate ship and rode an inflatable mechanical bull and best of all, we met SO MANY fans! During one of our meet and greet times, we had a steady flow of people in our line for so long that we extended it by 20 min so that we could see everyone. It was a really fun trip. It’s the first official 24 hours with 6 kids!!! We took the whole family (even aunties and grandparents) to the Great Wolf Lodge! We had such a fun and memorable time together! Oh Makeup Galore!!! Alyssa & I had a fabulous girls day out this week! We went to Beautycon LA where we were absolutely spoiled! We got all kinds of beauty product samples to try, we ate cotton candy, we played with giant makeup, we took a million selfies and fun photos, we drank Shirley Temples, we laughed, and we just had an all-around wonderful day together. When we got home, we did a haul of everything we got and we had some fun making our own mini spa day while trying on a bunch of new makeup products.
