Owen took his very first trip to Disneyland today! It was a big day because Owen went on his very first (and only) ride, and Michael went on Big Thunder Mountain for his very first time! We also tried a food we haven’t tried before at the Golden Horseshoe. We have wanted to see the 4th of July Fireworks at Disneyland for quite some time. We finally made it there to see the show! Baby Owen loves the water! Aren’t those tiny underwater baby feet just irresistible, too??!! He definitely enjoys the free feeling of floating in a big bath of water more than he enjoys the baby bathtub. I love how relaxed he is in the water. It’s just so cute! We did something different than usual! We went to a HUGE Carnival party! There were at least 15 inflatables, food, music, dancing, and 4th of July fireworks! For Michael’s 4th Birthday, we had a family party for him at this adorable Bee Friend place! It is a giant indoor playground that is bee themed! It was the perfect place for our little bee lover :) All the kids had so much fun with tons of super fast and colorful slides, ball areas, and pretend play section. (If you’re curious about Michael having two birthday parties, we did two special things with him as a family (this and Legoland) because he doesn’t have any friends to invite to a birthday party). Owen is now one month old. I can’t believe the time has passed so quickly! One thing I am trying to do for him that I haven’t done for my other kids, is document the little things–random moments throughout the week, daily photos, and weekly growth cards that I write his milestones on. We love a good relay race! For today’s family game night, we played Pancake Pile-Up. We played it on teams and raced each other to see who could correctly stack their pancakes first! It was a fun challenge for the kiddos! The kids especially liked how the pancakes were made of thick plastic so they could continue to play with them outside playing with them as game pieces.
