What a fun-filled day we had! After a morning of tennis, Alyssa & Mommy had some girls time on a mini girls day out. When we came home, we had the boys help us tidy up the house and we left for soccer. We ended the night with some opening of toys that still hadn’t been opened from Christmas. Alyssa got some Shopkins and Squinkies, so David helped her open them so she could organize them in her playhouse. My favorite moments are near the end of the vlog. We had a serious ultimate Nerf gun fight at our house. It started with Daddy trying to keep up with attaching the bugs from the X-Shot Bug Attack Blasters to the walls. The kids started shooting Daddy instead of the bugs and the war was on! It became kids vs. Daddy….till Auntie arrived! Nerf wars are one of the kids’ favorite pastimes. During the Superbowl, all of the adults were sitting on the couch with a Nerf blaster, waiting for kids to walk by and we were shooting back and forth during all the commercials. Thanks for watching! Gummy food is good. Making gummy food is especially fun! We made gummy worms, gummy fish, gummy bears, and a GIANT gummy bear! The only thing missing from this kid size cooking was our 1000 degree knife to help us cut this large gummy bear! During our Toys R Us shopping spree, we got some pretty fun toys. One of the ones the kids really have loved is the spiderman rocket launcher! It goes super high and everybody loves to try to catch the rockets on their way down. We took the kids to the park for a fun picnic lunch, played with Chris’ new rocket launcher toy and also brought along our parachute. It was a relaxing afternoon with the family. Thanks for watching! David & Zac had a super fun time creating their own Play-Doh waffle breakfast, complete with pretend toppings and side dishes. The waffle lever that stamps & spins waffles was definitely a hit.
