Louisiana Swamp Tour, Hunting for Alligators!

This was probably one of the hottest days of our entire trip! I never would have imagined that it could feel so hot while on the water! It was a fun tour, but we were so glad when it was over and we could get back into some cooler air!

World’s Largest Rocking Chair

We (Family Fun Pack) saw the sign for the World’s Largest Rocking Chair and had to see it. I expected it to be a large chair that hopefully all my kids (Alyssa, David, Zac, Chris, and baby Michael) could sit in at once for a cute picture, but when we saw it, we were surprised at the actual size! Rocket Park Playtime

We were driving along our epic nationwide road trip when the kids spotted this awesome rocket park from the car. It took us a good 20 min after we passed it to finally get to an exit and find our way back to it, but we had the place all to ourselves and the kids had a great time playing. It was so hot that they were starving after they played, so we went to a buffet for an early dinner 🙂

Star Wars Limited Edition Cereal & Florida Beach

We tried out some yummy (in the kids’ opinion) cereal. I think the kids loved it most because it was Limited Edition Star Wars cereal. Our kids are huge Star Wars fans!

Alligator Alley Up Close Gator Experience

We had the opportunity to spend our 4th of July getting very close to some HUGE gators. The alligators were sectioned off by age, so babies, then 1 yr, 2 yr 3, yr, 4 yr, etc. The really giant gators were all together in this huge swamp with a boardwalk above it. The end of the video shows the alligator feeding time. We loved visiting Alligator Alley in Louisiana!

Cruise Ship Water Park

We went on the Carnival Magic where they had Waterworks, a water park on one of the highest decks of the ship! It was a really fun place to play. We especially liked it because it was the only water on the ship for playing that was chlorinated (rather than ocean water). The cool water felt great on hot sea days. When we go up top for the water slides, you’ll see how incredibly windy it is up there!!
