Ever since making our well-known box sled video, our kids always ask to ride more boxes down the stairs. You may have seen our video about our TV getting smashed, so when we got the new TV, the kids had a great time using the box. Here is 6-Year-Old David in his first cooking video! He was SOOOO proud of himself for making a family dinner all by himself!!
Here is the recipe we used:
4 tablespoons of butter
4 tablespoons of flour
3 cups of milk
2 teaspoons of salt
A few shakes of pepper (just what you prefer for your tastes)
**We add more milk than some bechamel recipes call for in order to make it thinner for a pasta sauce**
We also use margarine instead of butter, so we used more of it that normal. If you are using real butter, 3 tablespoons of butter/flour and 3 cups of milk will do.

When the boys saw the new Fisher Price City Skyway at Toys R Us on display, they immediately fell in love. They loved the colors and the size, and of course they love cars! This toy has been a huge hit and my kids love it. It is one of those toys that I can see myself keeping forever and eventually my grandkids will play with it, because it is a well constructed toy with cute cars that will also last and stay looking good over the years.

We found these cute mermaid toys that seem quite similar to the Aquabots we reviewed last summer. The thing that sets these apart and makes them way better than the aquabots is their on/off switch!! The kids have been using these for a few weeks now and they have been great so far. The only strange thing is that one of the mermaids continues to randomly turn on and run :)
