Another pint-sized disaster occurred during our spring photo shoot in February. You can’t tie everything to the ground and tether everything else to the wall…..as you’ll see in the video, we were RIGHT there in our living room when we heard a huge shattering sound. We were already recording, so we ran in with the camera. I was just happy Michael was OK and that it was just a lamp, and not my porcelain hand prints of the kids from 2013.

This video was featured on Good Morning America! Adorable bird toys–Alyssa loves them! Digibirds has come out with these super-cute hatchlings that chirp, sing and move! As you’ll see in the video, they’re a neat twist on the Digibird toy. I just find it funny that if you look online to order these (such as on amazon), the product description says “Digichicks are made for girls 5+…”, and I beg to differ….my boys like these birds quite a bit. Who says a boy can’t enjoy a fun chirping pretend bird?!

With realistic sounds, plenty of food and lots of places to play, this kitchen was a great choice for our family. It was fairly easy to set up and, like all Step 2 products, has been extremely sturdy. We have already changed the batteries in the stove top, and it was super easy. This toy has provided hours of pretend play for the kids. Even my 8 year old loves finding the ingredients for foods then coming up with a finished product!

We packed as much horsepower as possible into the twins’ 5th birthday party! The twins have loved muscle cars for a while now. They can identify any muscle car (or any other cool car) that they see, so we decided to do a muscle car themed birthday party for them. Of course, we had to make it unique, so we had small cars (Hot Wheels), medium cars (remote control muscle cars) and large cars (4 real muscle cars). The party was a lot of fun, even for the adults!
