Michael got his second haircut!!!! The place we went for the haircut is where I had wanted to take him for his first hair cut but for some reason we didn’t stop there, so I was glad to be able to make the trip back for his second haircut.

One of our sweet fans, Stacey, sent the kids gift cards to Toys R Us for Christmas. We have never let the kids go to Toys R Us and get whatever they want. The kids really enjoyed getting to pick out lots of toys at the toy store! I think I should let them give input on their toys more often, because they’re still playing with everything they picked out!! THANK YOU STACEY!!!! You made my kids SO happy!

We were super excited to receive a few things for Christmas and the twins’ birthday this year from some awesome fans!! In this video, the kids open mail from Daisy, Lior and Stacey. Be sure to look for the video of the kids at their Toys R Us shopping spree. We really did let them go that night after they opened their gifts. As I am typing this, Alyssa is sleeping with the dolphin from Lior 🙂

We went in today and Michael’s splint was replaced by a hard cast. We go in again at the end of the month for a checkup. The orthopedist said that this is one of the most common breaks and he was surprised none of my other kids had done it. He calls it the “skateboard fall” because it’s the break that occurs when you fall forward and use your hands to stop the fall. Michael is doing well and continuing to improve, I can’t WAIT for his cast to be off because he has a lot of cute clothes he needs to wear before he can no longer wear them!

We celebrated Christmas on New Year’s Day this year due to our vacation. So, on New Year’s Eve, we made cut-out cookies and bread for Santa. The three little boys had a well check. The twins got their school shots so they’ll be ready to start kindergarten and Michael got the vaccines he was due. The twins had different reactions to their shots. Michael hated his of course. We even created “The Crazy Shot Dance” inspired by the super nice nurse to help the pain of the shot go away.
