A day in the life of Family Fun Pack, on a typical mid-week school day. As shown in the video, two of the kids attend school, while three are still too young so they spend the day with mommy. One thing that is different in this video is that we recorded it mid-week instead of on the weekend, so daddy was at work all day, instead of being at home with us all day. Hope you enjoy the video!

We decided to rent a boat for the day and take the kids on their first boating trip. Everybody got turns on the tube (except the baby, of course) and all the kids had a great time, even though a few of them were nervous at first to try the tube. We had a picnic on the boat and had a very enjoyable day.

Here’s the kids playing with the Imaginext Pizza Planet Playset. About 30 seconds after removing this play set from the package, we realized it wasn’t the best Imaginext we had ever seen, although it is vibrantly colored and fun looking. There are balls included with it, which seemed really cool when we looked at in in the package, but after opening it and finding the balls just rolled down a small ramp on top of the toy and hit the table, the kids weren’t that excited. Other than the novelty of the toy looking like Pizza Planet at Disneyland and having the Buzz Lightyear and the other Toy Story characters, my kids weren’t entertained for more than a few minutes with this toy. Being the only girl in our family, my daughter has gone through quite a few “girl” toys. She is definitely not a doll-lover, but she is certainly a pet lover, and this is by FAR, her favorite animal toy yet. She fell in love with her Digibirds immediately–cute movements, cute sounds, bright, happy colors–what’s not to love?! They were a quick set-up (virtually no set up which is always awesome), and she loves how they tweet and sing like real birds.
