When we saw a picture posted of this park, we HAD to go there. Such a unique and awesome looking park! We finally made it there and the kids loved it. There is a smaller space ship looking structure for younger kids, swing sets, a water play area, rock wall with ropes, huge grass area. We hope to be able to return to someday soon!

In this video, the kids were playing this adorable Little Tikes game. When you get the top and bottom half of a farm animal by lifting the eggs, you snap it together. We got this toy and owned it less than 3 days before we let it go. It is super cute for pictures and I think the best age for it would be babies who 1) enjoy sitting in a jumper (although there is far less to entertain the baby other than the act of jumping compared to other entertainers) 2) are able to walk with a walker while standing, not assisted walking while being seated (reasons stated in video for this). I read some reviews before I bought this toy about it hurting the heels of babies and people were wondering if it was recalled. I still decided to test it out for myself and my son was fine until someone decided to try to have a little fun and push him along while he was in the walker. His poor heels did get caught and he was hurt by the toy.

For the twins’ 4th birthday, we decided to have a balloons theme. We made a 25 foot balloon arch and blew up 1,000 balloons. Since I (mommy) am allergic to latex, we were worried about having so much latex in the house, but I didn’t blow any of them up (daddy was a rock star for blowing balloons up for HOURS) and we had a very creative way for “cleaning” the balloons after the party to get the latex out of the air. The kids love hangman, and this is the best version of the game that we have found! I love that it’s dry-erase (now that there’s washable dry erase pens available) and the kids love flipping over the letters and body parts. So much better than going through tons of paper, and we can take it on the road easily! David was determined to surf the entire slide on this longest-slide-ever we played on. The bump in the middle kept messing his ride up! At the very end when I stopped the video, he was asking “where’s daddy” because he had been trying to get this trick down for over an hour (notice how sweaty he is) and he really wanted to show daddy.
