Celine Dephare (pronounce “say•leen duh•far”) is a French headlights vendor. Phare means headlights in French, her name means in French “Celine of headlights”. Celine’s eyes are in her headlights, the car part she coincidentally sells in Paris at the Marché Aux Pièces. When Mater strolls into her stall, her unusual appearance scares him away. She’s the only character from Cars, Cars Toon and Cars 2 with eyes in her headlights. In the Cars 2 movie Celine Dephare windows are fully transparent and reveal her interior showing rearview mirror, seats, dashboard, and a steering wheel. Unfortunately her diecast is opaque. .
