If you have never seen them, the Fisher Price Little People Klip Klop toys are some of the coolest new toys to hit the market. They are a combination of old school toys with new characters from both Disney and Nickelodeon. I will admit that our (nearly) 4 year old daughter prefers the Little People Disney Princess Klip Klop Stable over the Mike the Knight Arena… and not just because she is a girl.
The Princess Stable features a series of ramps and (you guessed it) stables for the Disney Princesses and their horse to hang out. The Stables also features a Castle region where the princesses and their horses can dance to music and even march down the Castle’s ramp. Our family’s opinion is that the Princess Stables is one of the best toys available for children under 4.
Mike the Knight Arena – The arena features a ramp that Mike the Knight can Klip Klop into a jousting arean where he knocks down the targets. Mike and his horse Galahad Klip Klop down portions and then charge down others – making it a faster toy than the Princess Stable. However, Mike can get a little unstable (and unlike the Princess Stable) and tip over. While it is a cool toy it is a bit of a one trick pony (no pun intended) and does not feature all of the additional areas of play like the Princess Stables/
Which is better? Well it depends on if you are a bigger fan of Mike the Knight or Disney Princesses – but this dad thinks that the Princess Stables offers more activities and provides more areas for imaginative play!
