There are a variety of playhouses and castles that have recently entered the market. Three of the most popular are the Sofia the First Magical Talking Castle (which is not getting many good reviews), the Disney Little People Princess Songs Palace, and the Dora the Explorer Playtime together Dora and Me Playhouse.
Sofia the First Magical Talking Castle. The castle is cute, and even features the stained glass that was broken by Philip. The issue is that it seems like Mattel may have brought the product to market a little too soon. The voice box seems to malfunction routinely causing it either to not work or for it to use the wrong character’s voice.
Disney Little People Princess Songs Palace – A great toy, especially for younger children. Our daughter loves the way that each disney princess has a variety of phrases that they play. Another feature is the door plays regal music each time they are opened and closed. A real winner for our daughter.
Dora the Explorer Playtime together Dora and Me Playhouse – Probably the best playhouse in the bunch. This playhouse has a variety of phrases and has a doorbell that can pushed. Another advantage is that is has the largest play area of the three playhouses featured in the video.
