All our toddlers out there love play-along games with their favorite nursery rhymes. Miss Polly Had A Dolly is another of such playful rhymes. The baby song describes a small girl playing with her dolly. The girl thinks that her doll has fallen ill and phones a doctor to quickly come and check on the beloved toy. The doctor arrives at the girl’s house with his hat and bag, knocking on the door with a peculiar ‘rat-a-tat-a-tat’ sound. As he checked on the dolly, he shook his head in concern and told the girl to put her to bed. Even writing some pills on a prescription and telling the girl he’ll return in the morning for his fees. With the kiddie song playing in the background, baby girls can play the game of their dolly falling sick with their fathers role playing as the doctors. They can maybe add the mother as the sister as an add-on to the game for a good playtime and bonding with parents. So parents, are you ready to entertain your little ones?
