Depending on the day, the movie “Tangled” is our daughter’s favorite (although most days she still prefers “Beauty and the Beast”). The movie “Tangled” is about the soon-to-be 18-year-old Rapunzel and her quest to see the floating lanterns on the night of her birthday. Disney’s “Tangled” is significantly different than the Brothers-Grimm “Rapunzel” – but that a different review for a different day.
The Disney Princess Color Change Brush Rapunzel Doll is, obviously, based on the Disney’s version of Rapunzel. It is a pretty basic doll – you place ice-chips into (seemingly water-tight) brush. As the brush is rubbed against (certain strands) Rapnzel’s hair causes it to change to either pink or purple….and your child’s eyes will nearly pop out of their heads.
Notes-
– Only certain strands of Rapunzel’s hair actually changes color. The strands the are blonder/whiter are the ones that change colors.
– Depending on the strand, Rapunzel’s hair will either turn purple or pink.
– The brush has a small star at the end, which allows you to put star designs into Rapunzel’s hair.
– The brush needs small ice chips so that turn metal plates on the brush cold which allows Rapunzel’s hair color to change.
– So far the ice chamber in the brush seems to be water tight – we have not had any leaks.
Final Verdict – Our 3-year old daughter enjoys her color changing doll. I am curious to see if she still enjoys in 6 months, but so far it is a big hit.
