What a fun (and busy) day! I am SO proud of the boys for their first baseball games! They’ve only had a couple practices and they did such a great job. This is their first season playing baseball, and I have been wanting to put them in so they could give it a try. I also thought those uniforms would just look adorable on them. Their grandfather was a professional baseball player, so I am hopeful that they could have some potential to really enjoy the sport as they grow. After baseball, we went back home for a while–all 3 boys had pictures in the morning, and David’s game was in the morning, but Zac & Chris had their game in the afternoon. Back at home, we had some gardening to do and a surprise for Chris. After baseball, we made a last minute trip to Disneyland to meet up with some friends. We had a chalk day!! The kids used chalk stamps, and all kinds of fun chalk toys like jump ropes that leave rainbows along the ground and stilts with chalk stamps underneath them. But in true Family Fun Pack fashion, things got a little messy and the chalk ended up more on the kids’ bodies and on our house than anywhere else 🙂 I think I like chalk messes because they’re by far the easiest to clean up! We had a lot of fun playing with the Play-Doh Scoop and Swirl Ice Cream Shop. We made all kinds of sweet treats and desserts. We made Play-Doh ice cream sundaes, waffle cones, banana splits and more! We even created our own gumball challenge while we were playing, but the ice cream maker was definitely one of the hits of this playtime.
